This one may be a little late for those on the east coast. It'll be played indoors at Allegiant stadium in Las Vegas. Really nice facility and great place to watch a game.
Anyway, the transfer portal keeps making things tougher each season. There's now more disparity between elite teams and those with lower floors. Conversely, we've seen some top level talent bypass the elite programs because these kids are getting offered so much money.
The question then becomes;
How much other money do these second tier schools have left to offer remaining transfers.? This needs to be straightened out. As mentioned before, lesser schools are building teams for a season, while not developing long term programs.
OK... I'm off my soapbox.
Both teams have lots of opt-outs on both sides of the ball. The quarterbacks seem like they're sticking around. We already saw the surprising benching of Miller Moss from USC, but his backup-Jayden Maiava made them bowl eligible by winning 2 of his last 3 games and moving the ball nicely against Notre Dame.
The total looks too low.
